So I attended this "Evening with Eddie" expecting to get a glimpse of the 2005-2006 Cowgirls and the only time they stepped on the court was to be introduced before they returned to their seats to watch the men take the court. That is like a child waking up on December 25 only to be told that Christmas had been moved back three weeks.

I was hoping I would be able to inform everyone of how my team had the pieces of the puzzle to begin turning the program around. Instead I can tell you that Coach Budke seems like a very nice guy that knows how to work the crowd. I can't help but feel optimistic about the new coaching staff. They seem to be full of the positive energy that the program was in desperate need of.

OSUcowgirl........I certainly understand. It used to be this way at OU; though for the past 5 or 6 years, they have held a scrimmage a week or two before season starts.

I've come to expect to get my autographs at the Baseline Bash and not much else, though the past 2 years, there has been more attention paid to the women. But, it's not where I've come to expect my info from.

Do you all have a Donor Club? I know it's only been in the past two years that there have been some valid rewards for being a Fastbreak Club member....

like, last year the scrimmage was open to the public, but Fastbreak members got pizza and a get together with the players afterward. The Fastbreak Preseason Dinner is Oct 24 and that's a really good way to get to meet the new girls and see them in a different light than down on the court.
