When the closest game is a 16 point rout at 2 minutes remaining, I guess you could call the games snoozers. Especially when most of what I've watched today has been USC-Louisville and ASU-Eastern Kentucky.

Thanks, ESPN. Besides being idiots, you couldn't even give us blowouts with teams that anybody around here actually cared about.

Maybe they think that since the University of Colorado is only within the Denver "metro area", that we would much rather watch mid-majors against Pac-10 teams. Whatever.

Without a doubt this is economic blackmail to get people to subscribe to their premium packages. It seems to me that if you are going to do that, you shouldn't get commercials with the games. I'm fairly tired of corporate American force-feeding me worse and worse content and pretending that it's just as good as what I got before. It used to be that if you wanted a higher price for your product, you had to offer a better product. Now you just water down the original product at the same price, and pretend that the new product, which is identical to the product you got before, is available for a higher price.

It looks like the ASU-E.Ky game is the default for the whole country. I've heard from Baylor fans in Texas and in Georgia who are getting that game rather than their own teams. I'm sure the people in Georgia really care to see ASU rather than Georgia-Rice

TCU - Oregon is looking to be a competitive game, with a tied game with 8:30 left in the first half.

Oregon is ahead 55-50 with 2:49 to go....by the way Oregon's coach was also the Canadian Olympic coach when SDS played.

Notre Dame leading 50-46 with 2:50 to go

Dang.......come on Horned Frogs !! oh no.....Sandora Irvin just fouled out on an offensive foul. 14 points, 6 blocks, 7 rebounds for today

The Ducks have caught the Horned Frogs and took the lead in the center of the pond with 1:30 to go. They now lead 55-50.

3 point attempt missed by TCU. Oregon wins it, 58-55!

Bring it on, Oregon, we'll take ya!

Pac-10 doing pretty good at least today anyway.

I don't like Leslie drooling over the Pac10, but I disagree with YCN on the Pac10. We get FSN Arizona so I've seen a lot of Pac10 games...so I'm not surprised they're doing well.

Isn't the court at Minnesota a little dangerous?

It's like if you go out of bounds you drop off the end of the earth. A person would surely think twice about purchasing a ticket in the first couple of rows, especially behind the basket.

I really hate ESPN.

It'll be a total shock if I get to see tomorrow morning's Sooner game here in Oklahoma.

If anyone in KS is getting the KSU game, please give updates.

K-State starts in about 20 minutes ...at 7pm CST...

and tomorrow we will then take a break from 2:30-5 MT to show Drag Racing, Tennis and Figure Skating..

Perhaps we should start a new ESPN vent thread...

ESPN made a terrible scheduling mistake! Because two Big 12 teams have games starting one hour after any earlier games, and since no games start for 1-1/2 hours after the start of the games involving the Big 12 teams, ESPN may actually be forced to show us some portion of 1/2 hour of games involving Big 12 teams. I wonder if that portion will be 4 minutes, 6 minutes...

Could we actually get 10 minutes of uninterrupted Big 12 coverage out here in flyover country? Perish the thought.

I am so mad, I can't see straight. My blood pressure must be off the chart. So much for a nice Saturday night of basketball. Why in the world did I have three different ESPN channels this afternoon but only one tonight? These ESPN folks are just a bunch of jerks. (Sorry Chipper)

    (redundant, yes I know)

So out here in Big 12 land we're being treated to an all-Virginia matchup.

I really wish FSN would step up and win the contract to broadcast NCAA WBB tourney games when it comes up for renewal.

K State and Bowling Green about even, at the half. KSU surely misses Megan and is still trying to find their identity. Laurie has hit 4 3-pointers in the first half, Kendra is a little slow getting going. She was saddled most of the half with 2 fouls. Let's go Wildcats! This one is for Megan!!!

I have to say that I'm glad I ponied up and paid for ESPN Full Court. At least I get to choose which teams I watch.

You paid the ransom. Isn't that exactly what they wanted you to do?

Probably so, YCN. At least I get to choose what I do/watch. Given ESPN's history, I felt it was well worth the trade-off.

At just over 16 minutes to go in the second half, K State is up by 5. Perhaps an inspired half-time? Let's go, Wildcats!

Channel 16 in Waco---the TW Channel---shows ESPN Regional games. FYI. Sometimes they show them on Channel 14 & 15 as well.
