Nebraska Coach Connie Yori said the Huskers were happy to be playing at home at least one more time in 2004-05.

“It is great to get our players and our fans another game in Lincoln. We have had some success playing at home over the past two seasons and we hope that can continue. We also hope that the great fans who came out and supported us all season will be back at the Devaney Center on Monday night.”

Not to be left out Texas A&M will host Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Monday night in the second round of the WNIT at 7:00 in Reed Arena. The Aggies already defeated TAMU-CC 88-64 during the regular season.

I am pulling for :nu: , but just two words or should I say names come to mind.
They are Crystal Smith and Jamie Cavey.
I like the match up that is most likely between Smith and Hardy (I think Hardy has the advantage). I really don't know who if anyone can contain Cavey, but I think that the X-factor for the hawkeyes will be either Abby Emmert or Johanna Solverson (she likes the 3). I got to see the hawkeyes beat ISU, but I think that if Nebraska hits from outside and contains Cavey on the inside, they have a GREAT shot at winning this game.
My prediction
Nebraska 66 Iowa 63 (ONLY if they contain Cavey)

GOOD LUCK HUSKERS!!

The ticket office at my alma mater is terrible. Listened to the minute and a half lead in introduction and then been routed to a busy signal (three times) or been placed on hold for over ten minutes (twice). :nu:

The Huskers played great just couldn't get enough shots to fall when they needed. Iowa wound up shooting 56% from the field. It seemed like everything they threw up went in. The Huskers started slow, once being down 17-5 but made a come back to finally tie it at 49 but just could never get over the hump to get the lead. Sure would of liked to see Jina J play another game. Hardy and Spiric both had great games.

The Huskers will be alright next year if they play like they did tonight.
