Well it must be April 1st. At the half CU 40, KSU 12. KSU is shooting a hot 15%. Jenny Roulier has outscored K-State. She has 13. Patterson is right upset and has played the reserves for a while.
Holy Smokes!
40-12 at the half?
I guess I underestimated the Colorado team!

I sure wish I could see the game so I could understand whats going on. The K-State fans there can be heard over the radio broadcast and they seem to be pretty irritated but no matter what the deal is you have to do something to help yourself. I'm pretty sure the KSU locker room is not a good place to be right now.

Is KSU minus some players tonight? Or, is CU just on fire?

Sounds like CU is playing very well and KSU is not. Ohlde has 4 fouls and the score is now 53-29.

yuk, I was afraid of this....an angry Ceal, senior night, the thin Colorado air, freshmen with a week off may have all collided.
I don't think folks realize how tough it is to play at Colorado with the altitude and certainly these freshmen have never experienced it.
I want Colorado to win, just because it keeps Baylor AWAY from OU until the tourney final, but I don't want to see these young ones get clobbered.

If CU beats KSU by 20 points, I just don't know what to think about this conference! I was pulling for CU to win only because it may help Baylor's position.
Does anybody know what is going on? 15% FG shooting won't cut it for KSU.

Correction. Our broadcaster was in error. Ohlde did not get her fourth foul. It was on Mahoney. All KSU players are available. No excuses!

62-41 at 9:13
64-43 at 7:25, its going to be very hard to get back in this game. CU is playing very tough defense. KSU has 20 turnovers.
Domenico has fouled out at 4:08. With 3:50 left 70-47.

79-58 final. Roulier had 25 points for CU and played a super game on defense also. KSU shot 55% in the second half and outscored CU 39-46. Congrats to CU.

Ya gotta love the Big XII. Just when you think you have it all figured out...
http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif Longhorn fans need a CU loss to get the 4th seed at the tourney. Looks like we'll be rooting for NU next week.

Bevo, enjoy the #5 seed.
A #5 seed in the Big XII is better than a #1 seed anywhere else! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Chipper I know where your coming from and I think you are right but then maybe Ceal's team will be the one to not show up until the second half v NU. Somehow I think thats not going to happen though. What bites extra about this game is that CU may have just saved me the $40 bucks for my NCCA tourney tickets in Manhattan.

All I can about tonight is WOW. Jenny Roulier absolutely made life for Laurie Koehn a living hell, never leaving her for a second. Koehn had four of her 23 when JR was on her and got most of the rest when the decision was in hand (still hitting shots from practically halfcourt).
The posts couldn't get anything going, but it didn't matter. Roulier and Bohman were on fire and were not going to be denied on this night. That was clear from the tip. Nightingale didn't score much, but she played a point guard game..seven assists, seven boards, six points and so on. She's money..and she did a GREAT job on Domenico, Rethman, Booker and any other guard out there.
Senior stuff was great fun. These five....I don't know if there is a way to make y'all that aren't here as CU fans understand what they do for this ballclub. It is remarkable.
The funnest part of the senior night stuff was when the CU seniors invited their manager, elliott to speak. Coach Barry said that he was the best, and invited him to speak to the crowd. So he did, and he talked about how Colorado does everything "the right way" as far as their staff and players...it was just touching to see how much he meant to his team and likewise.
That's all from Colorado...looking forward to Lincoln on Tuesday to see if the Buffs can finish things right this time around.

In addition to what Kate stated about the game ... CU was pounding the boards in the first half. Ohlde and Wecker were not factors either - which was suprise.
KSU's big three were not a factor.
I didn't expect that CU would be able to clear its bench - but they did.
If I remember correctly CU scored the first 12 points of the game.
Biggest crowd of the season by far - lots of fre tickets available.
