I never thought we'd get that high a seed. That's the good news. THe bad news is - if we win our first round game we get to play LSU!

I have already made plans to go to Dallas and yell for the Lady Raiders and the Longhorns. Hope I can make in back to OKC on Sunday to watch OU play. We might get this game in OKC since it's going to be in Knoxville (and we always get the Knoxville games in our area).

Anyone else going to the Dallas shindig? I'm just going for Saturday only - but I mighit stick around if I have people to hang out with.

Made my reservations for Knoxville (make-up for having missed the Big 12 tourney). Certainly should be an interesting sub-Regional with 2 number 1 seeds to watch! Wonder what the chances are of getting a ticket for the Tennessee session?

I don't think you'd have any trouble, soonerman......I don't think Tennessee sells all 25,000 seats.

When we were in Knoxville 2 years ago for the NCAA's, they had the upper deck totally closed off behind what looked to be black drapes or something similar. That made for a very full (and loud) arena without much visible empty space. I remember commenting that if you spent much time there with a full house of Lady Vols fans you'd need ear plugs to keep from going deaf!

We had gotten our tickets thru CU so had good seats. After CU lost in the sweet 16 game, we had several people in orange approach us about buying our tickets for the elite 8 game. So buying thru one of the other schools might be best.

Of course, all this was at a regional with only 4 teams playing so it all may be very different for this first and second round 'pod' system with 8 teams playing.

I'm Knoxville bound also. It's hard getting there from Oklahoma though. And expensive! Wow!!

I'm curious, if Tennessee advances to Philadelphia (how great would it be if that doesn't happen!!!) how there fan support will travel. There sure wasn't a whole lot of orange in the LNC last March. It seems that they're so used to staying at home all tourney long that having to travel really throws their fans a curveball.
