With a noon start and a classroom of 5th grade students, I had a dilemma. How do I watch the game? So I devised a plan to make the Baylor vs. Missouri game a math lesson for my students. Off we went to the library (the only place with cable in the building) with stat sheets, pencils, and our "best behavior". LOL ;)
Oh my, here comes the principal...........
and she loves it and thinks it's a wonderful lesson plan!!
Anyway, everything went according to plan and I got to see the game or most of it!! But, the funniest thing was one of my inner city "hoops experts" starting yelling "here comes WILD CHILD" everytime Whitaker starting bringing the ball down the court. It was toooo funny. But, I'll take her 10 assists and overlook the 3 turnovers. Glad the game tomorrow is at 6.
