WBB rosters, unlike MBB rosters, do not list weight. Just watching other conferences on TV, it seems the trend among the better teams is larger girls, not taller, but, heftier. BU, eg, has Young and Niemann, both listed at 6-1 (which opponents think is an understatement), but, very different kinds of player. Any reason other than tradition why weights aren't listed?

While I don't know the answer, my opinion would have to do with female body image. They might have shown it, but I don't remember them showing the weight of many of female athletes in the Olympic sports like gymnastics or swimming either.

I think USA Basketball and the WNBA list the player's weights though.

The WNBA team rosters definitely do list the players weights.
