Session 17 results

Enough early results are in so that I can calculate Cyclones Rule and Cory's scores. Cyclones Rule had a session 17 raw score of 59 while Cory scored 69. So Cory remains ahead of Cyclones Rule for the overall lead.

Now looking at the next 5 people that could challenge Cory (albeit a bunch of longshots)..... These are the 5 and what their raw score would have to be this round in order to catch Cory in the overall lead:

schooner - 102 (or Dionnah Jackson, Lauren Shoush and Whitney Moore will have to score 75 HPLA points combined). Not likely at all, but if Jackson has a big game and career nights by Shoush and Moore - maybe.

carolann - 111 (LaToya Davis will have to have 56 HPLA points) Not a snowball's chance in ..............

Bball Girl and Row6Seat10 would have to score 115 (Conder will have to score 58 HPLA points for Row6Seat10; Bball Girl only has 2 points so far from Atunrase)

swok34 - 128 (Leah Rush and Dionnah Jackson would have to combine for 103 HPLA points - ummmmmm, probably not going to happen :) )

So, in other words, Mr. Engraver has been notified to start stamping "Cory" into the 2005 slot of the Hoopla! trophy! Congrats Cory!

swok34 my faith hasn't detered, if your hoopla girls can get the 103 points and I can get 58 from Condor, I would suggest getting in line at the ticket booth in front of Gallaghar Iba ASAP and buy a ticket to see this game.

It's sure to be a barn burner if that scenerio would occur!! :D

Congrats to Cory as well. I can't believe I came so close. It was not smart of me to take 3 cyclones on senior day. Man if I had known how close I was. It's a honor just finishing near the top in this. Normally I am a cellar dweller in hoopla.

Sorry about that. Next year, I will automate even more of the Hoopla! game so results can be given out even faster and each session set up faster.

Life has been, lets say, interesting, for me this past month resulting in my NOT going to the Big 12 tourney. I'm not happy to say the least. But also, I got a little behind on the Hoopla! results.

And here are the overall final standings taking your top 12 of 17 session scores. Again, congrats to Cory for being the overall winner. Cyclones Rule and carolann finished strong and placed 2nd and 3rd overall.
