A little late, but here is a nice article on the rehab and return of UT's Tai Dillard and Annissa Hastings. I have always thought that Hastings' injury last year really threw what was beginning to be a great season off track. Tai's injury just sealed our fate.

If the two continue to make contributions like they did last night, the 'Horns might just be making a little 'business' trip to their hometown in late March.

btw, very interesting conclusion on Kenya's backcourt violation against Baylor...

Bevo - Thank you for posting this link. I missed the article. What a great game both of these girls had against OK. I think I was as excited about Tia hitting those two big shots in overtime as I was about anything else that happened on Tuesday. She has been one of my favorite players to watch since she came in as a freshman and, as she noted in the article, her speed is back but she's been hesitant with the ball. She looked like her pre-injury self in OT! I would love to see her recover enough to go back to her starting position as shooting gaurd.

And we are just a different team when Hastings is on the court. Her rebounding, shot blocking and man to man defense sets off our offense. Really looking forward to the rest of this season and next.

I thought that call could not be correct at the time, but nobody seemed to make a fuss, so I concluded that I had never properly understood the rule. Neither announcer questioned it...then again...that's not saying much. Stone didn't know about the lack of a 10 second rule in wcbb.

Two Cents - The call got quite a reaction from the UT fans at the Baylor game. But just like the OU game in Austin and the A&M game in College Station - the officiating was so across the board awful it seemed like just one more made up rule. There was a point at the BU game where the refs were so out of it they couldn't remember why they called a time out. I'm not making that up. I do, however, believe that for the most part the poor officiating in the big 12 harms everyone and not one team in particular. The bi-partisan nature of it, doesn't make at more fun to watch.

Becky Marshall, the Big 12's supervisor of officials, came to Austin on Monday to review a tape of the game to make sure the Horns knew of the mistake

wow, I think it's pretty impressive...does the head coach have to call and register a complaint for the supervisor to review?
