Kansas State Fans doubled Kansas attendence total
and put them over their total.
Kansas had 10,045 and the attendence for Sunday's game
was 11,858.

Three teams have reached the projected totals -
A&M, Kansas, and Missouri.
I hope that Aggie fans are starting to get
behind their team.

Does it look like we are going to fall short again? Does anyone know what the totals were last year at this time. I just don't see us reaching the mark this year. Maybe next year.

The Wisconsin site has NU with 42,357 @ 12 games, MU at 32,255 @ 12 and CU at 33,506 @ 14. I don't know the reason or which figures are more accurate.

According to the Wisconsin site update as of today:

Rank, Team, Average
#2 TTU 13,263
#4 ISU 10,382
#8 KSU 7,531
#13 OU 5,798
#14 UT 5,110
#15 BU 4,914
#23 NU 3,530
#32 MU 2,688
#37 CU 2,393

Its clear to me what the problem is and how to fix it. As TTU, ISU and KSU prove, the rest of the league is short of fans because they are short one letter. You can't expect to compete with us three letter teams when you only have two letters.

lol, that's it........we don't have a chance. uh oh, OSU is a 3 letter team and I think they might average a 1000.

Well, you see, OSU is the exception that proves the rule. Maybe OU could make it as the exception from the dark side but the rest of the Jumbo Dozen are OUT! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

OK, more attendance trivia:

Unless I missed someone in wading through the stats, of the top 50 games in attendance this season (all over 10,000) 24 included at least one Jumbo Dozen team. As you might expect TTU leads the list with 13, ISU=6, KSU=5, OU=4, KU=3, BU=2, MU, UT, NU, CU and OSU all had 1, TAMU will join us soon. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

So the key is to get more letters --

I guess that TAMU should be blowing us all away and the above figures must have just misplaced the decimal.

There's a second key. OSU and TAMU need to get into the top 40 or 50 or whatever the Wisconsin site shows. Once they do that, they'll skyrocket to the top. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
