Does anyone know the status of Mercedes Williams for Texas? Injured? Benched? Never really played?

She was suffering from the flu as of 1/26, along with Kalee Carey and Tamra Cobbins, but beyond that I haven't found anything to indicate that she's not available to play.

Mercedes was in bed with the flu and did not even come to the arena on Wednesday night. Not available to play.

Now I am REALLY furious - I thought I had seen someplace that among the folks with priority for flu shots were the aged, the infirm and, of course, Big 12 WBBers! If that was not true, I suggest we storm DC.

Mercedes has only played 1 game all season. Against Penn State. Other than that she has been non-existent on the floor because she cant hold on to the ball anymore, or finish plays :mad:
She has size and strength but just cant put it together this year for some reason. I think its in the water and hopefully she will stop drinking it. Heather is not drinking it anymore :eek:
