I don't know about you Carolann, but I am SO excited about seeing Nina Norman play. I have a friend who has seen her, and while Erin Grant is rated a bit above her, he and some others think she is a more complete player. At any rate, I will definitely be looking at this one.

Point guard Grant directs another Mansfield title run (http://www.dallasnews.com/sports/highschools/basketball/stories/0219hseringrant.afc7a.html)
"Four-year starter contributes in way that transcends numbers
Mansfield Coach Samantha Morrow first heard about Erin from a parent who told her she needed to check out this fifth-grader at Cross Timbers Intermediate School. "Oh, right," the coach thought.
Still, Morrow headed to the school one day to catch a pickup game. The only girl in the gym didn't really stand out.
"Until I saw her with the ball in her hands," Morrow said.
Morrow started thinking about a season four years in the future.
Erin attended her first girls state tournament in Austin as an eighth-grader. Rynae Grant reminded Erin, "That's when you said, 'We'll be on that floor next year.' "
She was right. Erin started at point guard as a freshman. Mansfield went 38-0 and won the Class 5A state championship.
Erin's record as a starter is 140-6. She didn't lose a district game in high school. "
17-year-old Erin Grant is attempting to lead Mansfield to a fourth straight Texas large class state championship.

Sounds like a she has a great family too. I'm looking forward to seeing her in red and black next season. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

Bobcat, I'm very excited about Nina Norman. I'm at a disadvantage because I haven't seen her play. I just have 2nd hand reports about how good she is. Tracy Schultze at the Dallas Morning News thinks Texas can be a top 10 team next year with Norman.
I've seen Erin Grant several times. She is great and should fit well at Tech.

I've seen both play and they're both great players with very different styles, fitting to each program. It will be fun to watch these two over the next few years.
