Here was mine and comments about my prognostications:

1. Tech's strengths? No single star, a lot of weapons who can be effective depending on matchups with opponents. This came true.

2. Tech's weakness? No single star, no dominate player who can take over a game when the team approach isn't working.
This came true too. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif

3.Tech's schedule? Toughest in the Big 12: If this schedule isn't at least #2 on the RPI Strength of Schedule list I don't know what is-- Vanderbilt, @Duke, Wisconsin, @Oregon, @Rutgers, @New Mexico, @ISU, OU twice, Texas twice, Baylor twice, Colo, @K St, @Mizzou (Tech lost there last time)
I hit this one right on the money. Tech will finish with #2 SOS behind Tennessee. Wish I hadn't mentioned the MU thing.

4. _____________ on my team is the player who is on the hot seat this year
I didn't have an answer for this one.

5. Dionne Brown on my team will be pleasant surprise on this team.
Ughh!! Was I wrong there or what? Should have said UN-pleasant surprise.

6. If the team plays with confidence in that first game at Duke, its a sign that it'll be a good year
They didn't play with confidence.

7. If players worry about playing time, its a sign it'll be a bad year.
See Dionne Brown above.

8. The one game on the schedule I am looking forward to is the first one, then the next one, then the next one.
This has definately been true. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

9. In March, my team will be preparing each week to play until the last day of the month.
Don't know the final outcome of this one yet, but prospects don't look quite as good as at the beginning of the season.

10. My team's MVP will be just like in 1999: the entire TEAM will be the MVP.
I think this has been true too. Of course Perkins has played well but Tarr has been so important and Ayers, White and Ritchie have also made big contributions to the LR's success. Even though the record is not what we are used to, this season has been successful so far. Tech has wins over Vanderbilt, Baylor, Texas, Iowa State and Wisconsin. I'm proud of the team for that.

I especially like #8. Hope those "next ones" last awhile.

I also like #10. Sometimes MVP awards for a team bother me a little. I've sometimes wondered if the seeds of the Plenette Pierson problems were sown in last year's team MVP award to Jia as a freshman. Hope not.

BTW, that was a superb post on the other board. Nearly went to the trouble of registering just to tell you so. Figured you'd read it here just as quickly.
