Once again, Lambert put on a show for all of us at the Baylor vs. Texas game. What a touch she has! The Texas bench failed to produce, a silly call very early on against Stephens (2nd foul with 17.5 minutes left in the first half), and it was downhill from there. Texas worked very hard to "make a run," but Baylor's scoring via Lambert and Cockren always responded quickly and fashionably.
Interestingly enough, Lambert scored 27 points. But the leading scorer for the game was Texas freshman, Heather Schreiber with 28. When the game comes that the Longhorn's fabulous freshmen, Bowers and Schreiber, get it together at the same time.....wow...beware!
Congrats to The Bears! (Although "yellow" is not my favorite color, and that "deformed hand thing" looks weird.)
Now it's time to prepare for the Oakies on Tuesday.
