...Apollo Anton Ohno lost the men's 1000 meter race, in an abortion if I've ever seen one.

Why didn't they disqualify the Korean skater and reskate? He was just behind Ohno, started to fall, and hooked Ohno with his arm, taking him and a third skater down with him. With the #4 skater falling only meters earlier, the Australian who was 5th with a quarter-lap to go ended up winning. At least Ohno managed to crawl across the finish line before anybody else, getting the silver.
It really sucks, doesn't it?
Ohno was clearly the best skater. And a bullshot decision takes him away from the championship.
Mark my words - if the competition hadn't been dirty, Apollo would have won without a struggle.
Sometimes life sucks.
Oh well.
At least the result tonight wasn't "sick".
