The big 12 confrence is here. Whats yalls thoughts on how its gonna be? Whose gonna dominate? Or will there be any domination? I believe on any given night any big 12 team can be beaten.

Baylor is leading our poll, followed by Texas and then Tech (a very distant 3rd).

We'll find out quickly with Texas playing at Baylor week 1.

No team will dominate. The South is still the toughest with Baylor, Texas, Tech and OU ...but should one overlook Texas A&M, they'll be sorry. Although TAMU only won a couple of conf games, they scared the heck out of all of us and made several games very close. I expect to see them win more this season.

K-State should lead the North, but Iowa State, Colorado and Nebraska will make them work for it.

I think OSU and KU will share the basement...but as we at Tech know, even the bottom teams can jump up and bite you.

It should be an exciting season.

Baylor has had excellent television coverage this year and I have been able to watch several of their games. Washington came out of the blocks shooting lights out and were leading by 12 at half, but Baylor is just so strong and well balanced. They came out in the second half playing hard like they do and ended up winning pretty handily. Florida was absolutely no contest. I watched both of our games last year and would rather play anyone than Baylor. Baylor and Texas are currently #3 and #4 for good reason. We play at Lubbock this Wednesday and that should be a very tough ball game. We are playing very well with big wins over La Tech and Utah.
