Race for a Bye

Wow -- Check the standings today.

Baylor is half a game from second; BUT also only one game from SIXTH.

KSU, CU, BU, ISU and UT: three should get a bye on March 5, two will not.

One thing for certain, I wouldn't sell my tickets for Wednesday, March 6th--- that will undoubtedly feature the best Women's College basketball of the year, to date. Not sure the final four will be any better.

I was just looking at that last night, and there are several games coming up between the teams who are fighting for 2,3,4 as well as games between those schools and other teams that will make it all very interesting.

I am very much looking forward to the Big 12 Tourney. Speaking of the Final Four - is anybody going no matter what teams make it?

We are. I'd love to be cheering for the Lady Longhorns, but I'll be rooting for any big 12 team that makes it that far!

We have some extra tickets if anyone is interested.

I have tickets for the Midwest Regional in Ames. I hope I will be watching the Cyclones but if not I will be cheering for what Big12 team is there.

I also have tickets, purchased last summer when the idea that UT could be a contender was a serious stretch. After Tuesday, however, one can believe that anything is possible. It would be great to cheer for the Horns, but I'll be cheering for all the Big 12 teams that make it to San Antonio. Maybe two Big 12 teams will be fighting for the championship - what then?

I'm planning on going to the Final Four if OU makes it down there.....I'm told those team ticket allotments will go to season ticket holders first.....hope they don't do a Southwest Missouri State on us and you have to have donated $1000+.

I agree with Bearskin that the first day of the Big XII tournament may be the best basketball this season to date. Let's hope not the best basketball around until next season. Here's hoping that we are able to represent how tough a conference this really is in the NCAA tournament.

Let's fill up the Alamodome with the best fans in the country.
