I'm in a state of total shock that Tech lost to Oklahoma State. There must be "something in the water" in "Stillwater." For Tech, at least, "still water does, indeed, run deep."

The StillWaters of Oklahoma had certainly cast their spell on the team from Austin in previous years. The same team that lost in Austin last week by 30+ points beats KSU and TTU in Stillwater. I'm glad we're not heading back in that direction this season; wonder if they'll be stirring the pot some more when ISU and BU come to town.

OSU is almost the equivalent of Tech's men team. Some great games at home, and then practically pitiful on the road. OSU doesn't ever seem to play to its potential. It either plays way above its potential and knock off Tech and KSU and nearly OU at home, or way below their potential and get absolutely destroyed on the road at Texas, OU, Colorado and slip up at home against TAMU.
It's this inconsistency that costs OSU chances at the NCAA Tourney for several years running now. And ultimately Halterman's job. Agreed though that it is odd the AD seemed fit to declare now that Halterman would be let go at the end of the season. Gotta be a lot of emotions that Halterman is dealing with when he steps on the court these last few games.
Wonder if this affects OSU's chances at going to WNIT. If they are given an invitation, wonder if Halterman will just say no - why bother.

Unfortunately, I think Okla.State's getting an invitation to the WNIT is a "real stretch."

Maybe, just maybe, "BEDLAM" is spreading its Bermuda triangle-like voodoo to other teams in the Big 12 than OU.

Team obviously rose to the occasion with Coach Halterman on the way out. Also, Tech seems inconsistant this year. They didn't look real great up here in Columbia, either.

Not necessarily. All OSU really has to do is remain above .500. They already have the quality wins needed to get into the WNIT. But staying above .500 may prove difficult.
