I was at the Stars game tonight, so I didn't get to catch any of the game....From what I read, BU had a 25 point lead and A&M made a final charge to cut it to 10, but that's as close as they got.
One roadblock out of the way. UT is next up at the dome Saturday. 5pm ESPN2.

Pretty close game the first half, BU blew it open the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half. Kim went to the bench a little too early ,and A&M made it respectable. It was pretty much the Sheila (29 pts, 7 assists ) and Danielle (21 pts, 14 boards)
show, not much else.
If anyone listened to the game, did the announcers explain why
Stephanie Blackmon did not play? She was suited up and went through all warm-ups, so I think she was healthy. So I assume she must have been in the doghouse for some reason. Hope she was only a little bad!!

Glad I decided to go with Bjorklund at the last second instead of Blackmon in Hoopla!.

I was at the game and everyone I asked said that they thought she may have been sick. She did go through warm-ups however. Fun game. It was a much needed road win for the Bears. I thought Fox had a pretty good game.

A&M's website lists links to postgame audio including Mulkey-Robertson's. In it she states that it was a coaches decision not to play Blackmon and "that Steffanie knows why". Coach said she wouldn't necessarily call it a disciplinary action but it was along those lines. This was clearly not a strategy move because of some matchup with A&M. Therefore, reserves will be in effect for those that chose Blackmon in Hoopla!.

The Dallas Morning News listed Blackmon's absence due to disciplinary reasons.
