I've got a lot to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is the good friends, friendly competitors, and comrades on this board!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, Soonerman, and to all you Hoopscoopers out there!

Good luck to the Lady Horns tonight. Stampede over Tennessee!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the HoopScoop Big XII fans!

Way to go :ut: . Tiffany Jackson was great tonight. This win will send the Lady Vols down a few notches in the polls, maybe fourth behind, LSU, Georgia, and Texas. :D

Happy Thanksgiving to All.

Thanks to all you hoopscoopers who rooted for Texas tonight. Likewise, I'm rooting for all the Big 12 teams through the non-conference.

Congrats to the Horns! They sure looked strong last night. TJ is unbelievable, and makes it look so easy. Jamie did her usual in superbly running the floor and then sinking threes at critical times to send daggers to the Tennessee hearts. And what a game Kala had. Glad to see her come on strong as well as Nina in the second half! Prof. Conradt no doubt got her troops' attention and will have them rolling. Keep it up, until Jan. 8 of course. :)

The Thanksgiving holiday is over and I'm back at the office, but I'd like to add a few thanks.

I'm very thankful that I had the opportunity to see the State Farm Tip-Off classic in person this November. Wow, what a cast! Seimone Augustus and Tiffany Jackson - both are strong candidates to win national poy honors during their college careers. Sophia Young and Stefanie Blackmon - they can compete with any frontcourt in the land. Jamie Carey - the consumate student athlete (make all the jokes you want about her age). Tanisha Wright should be in the "W" next year after causing much difficulty for the Longhorns for at least 3 straight seasons (I don't remember if Texas played PSU when Wright was a freshman ). Seeing Sylvia Fowles at the beginning of her career was a thrill. I have not seen a woman athlete like her before. She could be a POY before she is done.

The Texas vs Tennessee game was as much fun as I've had at a basketball game. It was great to have 11,000 fans in the Erwin Center, most of whom were cheering for the Longhorns. I'm looking foward to the visit from UConn next year.
