This article hits on the success of both men's and women's teams. My only beef is the title and intro
"Climbing the Charts
Oklahoma Women's Team Joins Men Near Top of National Rankings".

SInce the women have been top 5 all season, and the men have worked their way there, it should read "Men's Team Joins Women..."
Anyhow, nice to see some press outsite of Big 12 Territory.

Quote from the article:
"Coale took over in 1996, and it wasn't until Dales arrived in 1998 that the program finally emerged from the uncertainty after its brush with death in 1990."

Amazes me how NOONE and I mean NOONE is willing to recognize the FACT that Oklahoma won the 1994 WNIT and went to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tourney in 1995. Everyone is so bent on pumping this (that being OU's rise to an elite level) up to even more than it should be. Coale has done a marvelous job and it can stand on its own merit. People don't have to remove 1991-1995 from history to make it appear even that much more magnificent.

Either people want to sensationalize (which they really don't have to do with this story) or they simply refuse to examine the facts (that's plain lazy).
