Hoopla! - Session 2

[HoopScoop]

Hoopla! Session 2 will cover games on Saturday, January 11th involving all Big 12 teams. So you can select your lineup from all 151 Big 12 players (well, minus at least 4 because of injury). For a list of eligible players and their latest stats, click here (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/istats.cgi?url=http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/hoopla/hp_session2.html). Or you can recreate this list by going into Interactive Stats (http://hoopscoop.net/big12wbb/istats.html) and listing the Hoopla! points per game average for all teams.

When looking at this list, the 15th best Hoopla! player for the Hoopla! Practice Session is Stacy Stephens with a 15.6 avg. So your starting team cannot exceed 78.0 (15.6 times 5) total Hoopla! points per average. And your reserve will need to have a 15.6 average or lower. Technically, I'm adhering to the rules, but I feel I'm breaking the spirit of the rules. Notice I have 1 guard and 4 forwards or posts. Don't think I've seen such a lineup. Maybe we should amend the rules to say you need at least 2 guards (one being the point of course)?

I had Sabrina Scott in my Session 1 picks. In 24 minutes she missed 2 shots, had 2 rebounds and 1 assist. Scored no points, shot no free throws, had no turnovers, blocked shots or steals. Hoopla total 1 point. Sabrina's Hoopla average was 16.2, now it is 14.9. I think if it gets down to about 5 I may pick her again.

Dito YCN, but don't feel alone. I had her in seesion 1 also. Today she was 3-9 from the field, 0-1 FT, 4 rebounds, 6 points, 3 TOs and a steal. I make that another 1 point hoopla score. She may get down to that 5 but I doubt it. She is a better player than this.
