ERROR NOTICE - Hoopla Session 5

I've been waiting for about 45 minutes for a response from HoopScoop regarding errors found in the statistics for Session 5, but I feel that I'd better go ahead and notify folks now about a couple of discrepancies that I've found, and there is the possibility that there are others.

Caton Hill and Rosalind Ross are shown in the stats with 14 games and 15 starts, and their Hoopla averages are based on 14 games rather than 15.

I have no idea what HoopScoop wants to do about this, but please be advised that there may be other errors in the stats for the players for this sesson.

I won't comment further until HoopScoop responds - he may want to just go with what we have.

I take the stats from the official web site of each team. Hence, if you see an error, you will see an error on their web site. And yes, Oklahoma's stats do have an error in them. I've corrected the games played to be 15 for Ross and Hill and I've recalculated the average minutes, rebounds, and points produced per game. This adjusts both their Hoopla! averages down by a point.

The following people had either Hill or Ross or both in their lineups. As a result, you now have more room between your lineup's total Hoopla! average and the alloted total of 83.0 for session 5. If you want to rethink your lineup, go ahead, either you can just keep it.

I will add an internal consistency check to the stats to try and catch this problem in the future. I already modify a couple of errors/problems with the stats. Because Selmon's and Luce's jersies were stolen from the OU locker room a while back, they played a game with a different jersey number than normal. Therefore, they now show up twice in the stats, underneath two different jersey numbers. I've consolidated their stats into one line.

If anyone ever catches any errors, just let me know ASAP and they will be fixed. Otherwise, we are at the mercy of the stats reported on the official sites.
