View Full Version : Texas/OSU
Texas is destroying Oklahoma State 43-14 w/ 3:39 to go in the first half. Looks like the Cowgirls are getting the brunt of our frustration tonight! Tracy Cook hit a 3-pointer earlier. That's unheard of.
'Horns are cruising, 90-54 with a minute to go. Great confidence-building win heading to Knoxville next week.

Great win for the horns. Every player scored tonight. We even got to see Jody Bell play. The team was relaxed and having fun. I haven't checked the box scores yet, but heard that we held OSU to 10% shooting in the first half - 10%!
Everybody had a good game, but Hastings and Dillard both looked great. Hastings was scoring, rebounding and blocking shots. Dillard hit a couple of key shots - including a three - and seemed to be having a great time for the first time since she came back from her injury. Sare had another good game - hitting her shots, rebounding and a couple of really pretty assists.
Jody said after the game that Coco is going to red shirt this season, so we'll have her four more years.
Way to go horns. Keep having fun!

I don't remember hearing that Jody was injured. I know she has been working on her defense, taking care of the ball and decision making in practice, but I think Coco is the only player out with an injury.

This game was brutal. Totally brutal. It was nice to see the Horns having fun on the floor, though. They needed a game like that...especially considering they have to go to Knoxville and play Tennessee Tuesday. Ouch. That will not be pretty.

It was really amazing to see Coach Conradt use a three guard lineup for most of the game. At times she had Sare, Dillard and Larkin all in at the same time. And add Hastings to that mix and our quickness improves tremendously. Quickness is one of the things that has been lacking. At one point she had Dillard, Sare, Hastings, Bowers and Schreiber. Very interesting. I like it.

I think Georgia gave Tennessee all it could handle today...
Tennessee squeaked out with a win 52-50. Texas will either face a very pissed off Tennessee team or a very "good" team.....
Didn't Tennessee obliterate their next opponent after Vanderbilt beat them?
Yeah, Tennessee drubbed Arkansas. Arkansas had soundly beaten Vanderbilt one week earlier in the game just before Vandy beat UT!

Surprising stat: Tennessee was outrebounded by Georgia 43-21! Both teams shot miserably. Can't believe they won with losing on the boards so bad.
