View Full Version : CU starting to get scary-hot...
While NU isn't the greatest team, CU leading 49-23 at halftime is what you might call a statement.
Just one more team, besides ISU, that looks like they might take the competition apart at the conference tourney.

CU won 95-60
That pretty much confirms my post. While their 3 game losing streak to start the conference schedule wasn't a fluke, who want to play them now?

We don't have a choice, they are on our schedule for February 23 at their house. Yikes, (I believe is the word I've seen used on this board).

I would agree with that. Six players in double figures. Bench players carrying the fight. This is some Old School Kick-Butt Colorado. This was a buzzsaw we ran into tonight. Roulier found her stroke, but the big key was inside. Britt Hartshron and Tera Bjorklund dominated the paint and did their job. They forced 12 fouls in the first half. And I can't say the refs where bad. Nebraska's post players couldn't cover bed with a bedsheet. They got beat and had to foul.
On February 26th, we have to play them again. I highly suggest we forfeit. Nebraska took another step down tonight, even with Keasha Cannon's 25 points.
If Keasha Cannon ever just wanted to break down and rip her teammates, I'd applaud her for it.

Looking at what Kansas State has left on their schedule:
at Colorado and home vs Oklahoma seem to be the only 2 (IMO)
that could be a challenge.
