The box score shows her in for 3 minutes, FG 2 for 2 and 3Pt, 1 for 1 for a total of 5 points - so assume the FG is actually 1 for 1 as the play by play only shows her making 2 attempts - and making both! It also shows that she replaced
Snow with 3:52 to go.

The Houston roster shows 13 players, not including Stacey - but she hasn't been waved - guess she just didn't play - they don't show any players with 0 minutes for either team. mmmmm another thing I don't understand - grin.

Got my fingers and toes crossed - would really like to see Maria make it! But the Coments still have a couple of players overseas I think.

Not a good sign for Stacy. 6'5" C Tiffany Johnson played 21 minutes and had ZERO rebounds and 5 points. The whole Houston team had 13 rebounds.

An Indiana fan posted that Stacy Stephens wasn't with the team ??

And, Michelle Snow just got into camp on Sunday, which I think is the only reason she didn't start.

Not sure how much you can take from preseason games....the coaches use them to whittle away their training rosters...
which is why I'm really surprised the Stacy wasn't with the team in Indiana.

I saw it posted that she had been given permission to take a day or two to complete some school work at UT. I have NO idea how reliable that info is.

Stacy is NOT considered to be on the opening day roster.What a
mistake!She will suit up for Comets Home preseason game.Just a
rumor we can only hope is untrue.

Bummer about Maria! Maybe if she had missed a shot?

Her whole draft deal was just weird with the trade for Lindsay Taylor the purpose of keeping her salary lower. All-in-all I don't think I am a Van fan.

GO Stacy!!! We all know she is a player. I hope she gets a good shot somewhere if not with the comets.
