Sure wish we could have gotten Purdue in Waco while Shereka Wright was still with them. Looks like a pretty good line up.

I doubt KMR wanted any part of playing Purdue with Wright, Valek, and the other two seniors. Likewise, Baylor is playing PSU after they lose two players to the WNBA draft. It is a better schedule, but still awfully weak for a team that is trying to be taken seriously IMO, kind of like Kansas St in football.

Baylor also played at PSU before those 2 players were drafted.

Michael,
You could have made your comments two years ago about weak scheduling on the part of the Lady Bears and gotten no argument from me. However, no way there's weak scheduling in 04/05 (or 03/04). Lady Bears went to Penn State in 03/04 and didn't go down without a fight. This year Nittany Lions complete the home & home. Likewise Baylor went to Florida in 03/04, getting Gator visit to Bear country this year. Lady Bears go to Mississippi State as part that home and home. I also like the games with Rice, Purdue, and Montana State (Montana State beat us two years ago in their tournament). Don't know much about Indiana.
I think the 04/05 schedule is GREAT, bringing some terrific teams into the Ferrell Center. Maybe your post just wanted to get a rise out of a few people. If so, mission accomplished.

I have to agree. This looks like a good solid schedule against some good programs. The wins will mean something and most of the teams should offer good competition and opportunities to improve and familiarize themselves against an assortment of offenses, defenses and special situations.
