Here's an article about KSU's underrated and unsung member of the "Big Four" (Personally, I steam when I see articles referring to the "Big Three")from the Manhattan Mercury.

For some reason the above address won't take you directly to the article, but it will take you to the Manhattan Mercury where if you click on women's bb. the story will come up.

Mahoney is one of my favorite non-OU players. I just love her willingness and ability to do whatever is needed for her team. Players like that are rare.

Mahoney has also been one of my favorite non-OU players as well. Maybe it's because she's usually the unheralded one of the bunch. Or maybe because she's from Sturgis. Very cool. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
I'd agree that she's one of the most underrated players in the conference.
Mahoney is one of my favorite non-OU players too. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif (it must be my day) One of my memories of Megan is when she was asked what she thinks of the motorcycle rally in Sturgis. She said its great, I get in lots of work hours and good tips. Just the kind of answer I expected from a young lady who's moto is "Get-er done". The announcer at Bramlage will miss her when she graduates. He loves to say "From STUUUUUUUURRRRRGIS South Dakota, #34 Megan MAAAAHOOOONEY".
NO Marlene. Sad to say I have to be right here in river city for the next few days. Yell extra loud for me will you. There are quite a few people going from here and that includes Stan & Marlene Ohlde of course. You have a great name for an Ohlde fan you know. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

Jimi:
Sorry we won't get to see you in Minneapolis.
Science was never my best subject in school so I may not understand biological relationships, but I've come to the conclusion I must be related to Nicole Ohlde That perception is based on the fact that my number in grade and high school was also #3 and my name is the same as her mothers! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
Guess what? There are at least three Marlenes who sit in Section 19 at Bramledge. The woman who sits immediately to my left is from Russell. She and her husband make the one-way 2-hour trip for every home game as well as a few out-of-town trips.

Marlene have a safe trip to the land of the north. I wish your trip was about 4 hours shorter. I was really hoping that K State would be in Ames. Give us a wave as you drive by Ames.

Believe me, I was really hoping our team would be in Ames as well....a lot easier to get to for us fans and our players would have had a lot more support from the ISU fans as well as the KSU ones. Thanks for the good wishes. Here's hoping ISU wins the WNIT!

Oh no don't say that Marlene, I was really hoping you were pulling for the Huskers! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

Sorry about that....maybe I should have said I hope that either ISU or the Huskers win the WNIT....as long as it is someone from the Big 12....perhaps they could meet up in the finals...is that better? http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
