Colorado (5-2) faces Iowa (4-1) this afternoon in Boulder. It will be the third meeting between the two teams. Last season the Hawkeyes won 92-66 in Iowa City.
Colorado is coming off a loss to #15 Colorado State Wednesday in Ft. Collins while Iowa defeated Denver Friday night in Denver. This season the Buffs have played two ranked teams on the road (Vanderbilt and Colorado State) and both times they have not been able to make a game of it. Although the Hawkeyes aren't ranked currently, they should prove to be a challenge to the Buffs. Last season their triangle offense was too much for the Buffs to solve. This season the Buffs must stop guard Lindsey Meder who really lit them up last season and at the same time they must get more consistency from their guards and more scoring from their forwards. The one apparent advantage CU has is 6-5 sophomore center going against Iowa's 6-1 sophomore center Jennie Lillis. Bjorklund has been the Buffs most consistent offensive player this season.
