This season's home attendance at Big 12 schools is 887,835 total to date.
The conference is 112,165 short of one million fans with one regular season game remaining. With the change away from high seeds automatically hosting early round NCAA games, it appears that the chances of reaching the magical mark are pretty small.
Attendance is probably ahead of the record year overall so far, but we will end up with a significantly fewer total home games this year.
There should be a good turnout in Ames tonight, and Texas is virtually guaranteed to have two home games in the NCAA's. Oklahoma has a chance of playing one or two at home in the Midwest Regional, and Iowa State has a slight chance of playing in Ames in the first and second rounds.
Other than that, it is possible that any or all of Missouri, Nebraska and ISU could host games if they played in the WNIT.
