UConn had a scare last night at Va Tech...tied with unranked Va Tech Hokies at 43 with 3 minutes or so to go. We had Va Tech here at Tech for NCAA Round 1 last year...they had a decent team. UConn pulled it out 59 to 50...

Their margin of victory this season has been 37.4 pt...

Va Tech played a great game vs UConn last night. They played smart, disciplined, and with a lot of poise. We (UConn) were fortunate to keep our poise at the end, and in the last couple of minutes get the win.

The game was closer than the nine point differential.

I think every team (UConn included) needs these kinds of games to prepare them more for the tourney than anything else. Especially in Connecticut's case where the Big East is not as strong as years past.......
