Boy, you're ahead of me, Bball Girl. I was just fixin' to do the same thing, already had it partway done. I'll just post what I have in your topic. I'll be back when I am done.

Here are just a few thoughts I had worked up. I see by Bball Girl’s post that I should have added NC State over NC. I don’t think that will make people around Iowa State too unhappy.
By now, I imagine that everyone here is aware that Houston beat Tulane in 3OT, and that Arkansas upset Georgia, so I'll leave them for the time being. I don’t think there’s any need to mention Connecticut-Tennessee either.
Minnesota just dumped Penn State 74-56, giving them their first loss in the Big 10 after 10 wins in a row. That pretty much pulls Purdue even, both have one loss. Michigan State, Minnesota and Iowa all have three.
Stanford had a disastrous week in Arizona, losing to Arizona in a close one on Thursday, and being drubbed by Arizona State on Saturday. That puts Arizona in first with two losses, Arizona State is right behind Stanford, both have three losses.
Southwest Missouri State had their poorest outing in some time, but got by Northern Iowa 68-54, their lowest score of the season. They are 19-1, with the longest win streak in the NCAA. Creighton is hanging onto second place, just a game back.
With the LSU loss to Auburn, Tennessee now has a two game edge over them. Florida has two losses. They’re baaaack.
Biggest wins by teams that still won’t get them ranked. Florida State over Duke. Arkansas over Georgia.

Does anyone have a guess as to why there is so much more parody this year? I mean, I've been a women's basketball fan for a long time, and there is absolutely no dominant team out there. The Tennessee mistique and UConn streaks are not what they were. This is the most wide open it's been in a while. I can see schools like UT, KSU, BU, Tech, etc sparking in the tournament and shocking the East Coast. I would love to see those school play a week in the Big 12.

Yep, my Arizona Wildcats (I'm an alum) have been making some noise. Ranked at the beginning, they stuggled in the non-conference schedule and have been making up for it lately. The Pac 10 is a bit weird this year...Stanford with losses in Arizona and at USC.
The SEC is interesting this year. Auburn showing their stuff, Georgia taking some hits. Florida with Peck at the helm is going to be a team to be reckoned with as is Ole Miss with Carol Ross and give DeMoss a couple of years and Kentucky will be there too.
Parity..hmm I think the big teams are no longer getting ALL the best players. Improvement at the H.S. level is paying off at the college level and we are starting to see some amazing young coaches who played and learned at the feet of the best.

UConn beat Miami but had 33 TO's...in the Big 12 that would translate into some points.
