Tu vs Red...officiating

What's all the fuss about the officiating in that game? I watched it closely, and I thought that the officiating was the best the Big XII has to offer. In fact, wern't those the "senior" officials of the conference? Gee, with about 10 minutes left in the 2nd half, TU had 8 fouls and Red Techsters had 3. TU had 3 players getting in foul-trouble, and Tech had 0 in foul trouble. How could Techsters think the officiating was poor? It should have been the other-way-round. Be excited, Tech. You played as good as you could against a Top 3 Team!

When and if aggiegoof can bring itself to call UT and the Red Raiders by their accepted names I will call a-goof by its right name and consider responding to its posts. Because I follow mred's sentiment from the same thread:

I'd recommend not calling out Tech fans on this board for comments they made on their own board. People blow off steam on their own boards all the time.

I do visit the Raider Power board, if this is the one you are speaking of, not often, but I do visit.

And I firmly believe that a poster should not take what is said on another board and drag it over here.....and viceversa...
I don't appreciate when something I've said is dragged over to another board.....

and yes it has happened, and it was not appreciated....had it not been for another Big XII fan that posts here regularly, I would not have known.

This board has always been a friendly place and I guarantee there aren't many like it where 12 "fan-enemies" of one conference all get along and actually have intelligent conversation about their team and the sport of women's basketball. I would appreciate that it stays like that myself;
it's the reason Hoopscoop has not only survived, but thrived.

swok34,swok34,swok34: I totally agreee about taking comments and "running with them." My comments, as courteous as they were, about the officiating of 1 game was from this web=site. I've never been on another team's sight yet. Like I said, I kept reading about the officiating of the game. Actually, I thought (as I stated) that the officiating was very good. And it was! I think you're a-bit-too-intense, babe. Calm down and enjoy the message center, enjoy women's basketball, and enjoy yourself. I hope your week goes well!

Also to Aggie fans I never ever use the following except for the above poster and I apologize for its use to you. I really have a lot of respect for your University and its traditions.

Farmer, RedRaider, once again, aggiegal is not a gal or an aggie. This person is intentionally trying to provoke you into becoming angry and posting in anger and it has worked. This person is sitting back laughing because you did.

This person was obviously upset that there wasn't much negative garbage between Tech and Texas fans on this board so he has decided to get Tech fans worked up and create some.

This is a person that has read this board quite a bit because he knows what to say to get under our skin. May be the same person who posted under several different names on RaiderPower last year trying to stir things up. Amanda may have banned him from RP, can't remember.

I really have a problem when he tries to play games with the likes of Swok34. I wish Hoopscoop would do something about him but apparently that isn't going to happen. I suggest we just leave this board if we can't bear to ignore him.

I took a poll of the real Aggies I work with just to make sure, and they confirmed.

How many women's basketball fans would even know or use "tu"? Certainly not anyone outside of the state of Texas and few outside of the I-35 corridor.
