OU 18 MU 16 with 8:47 left
It's UT 29 NU 20.
Texas opened the game on a 10-1 run.
Right now the "live" internet radio broadcast of the OU-MU game is more than a minute behind Gametracker. Strange...

Mizzou leads OU 33-31 at halftime.
I THINK Texas leads NU 35-28 at halftime, but their stats machine is acting funny.

OSU is running away with the game. ISU had it down to a 9 point lead but OSU took control after that.

OU loses to MU 77-65.
Dang.....it those finish's that are killing us and I think panicking too soon when the game is still well in hand...
The Score was 63-60 at the 6:03 mark.....when Caton Hill came back into the game after sitting after 4 fouls at the 16 minute mark http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif Guess Caton will go through her entire career fighting the foul trouble. And I'm just not sure this team has the experience to punch out finishes with their youth and Caton Hill playing only half a game.
Antoinette Wadsworth, I thought.....was a huge boost off the bench and looked like the Antoinette I saw early before she tore her ACL. I really think she's improved more than anyone on the OU team I've seen.
Couldn't contain Stretch James, and she had 4 fouls at the 10 minute mark in the second half....she finished with 22 points and 8 rebounds.
Man.....not the way you want to travel into Manhattan.

Ouch. Those Sooners are a hard-luck bunch right now.
They'll get back on a roll soon. The KSU game should be a very interesting one to watch.

Glad we're done with OSU...but good to see the Cowgirls continuing to prove that they have a lot of fight...
I could NOT believe the MU - OU results...actually I can....knowing how tough can play at home, but I expected OU to pull it out.
Right now I wish I could feel like OU will get on a roll, but I can't. Whatever it is that is missing with this team is hard to put a finger on, but they've been underperforming fairly consistently for a year and a half now.
I'm starting to think that with the way the conference is coming on this year that they might not make it to the NCAA tournament. If they don't change their fortunes in a hurry it's going to be a short and painful season.
OU hasn't beaten a single top 25 team since before the conference season of 2002-2003, and has won precious few games against top 50 competition in those same seasons. The entire portfolio of good wins since the start of the 2002-2003 season consists of wins over North Carolina and TCU last year, and Utah and Nebraska this year.
In 2001-2002 alone OU had 5 top 25 wins and 6 more top 50 wins prior to the NCAA tournament, where they won 5 more games.
This team is wearing me down.

Yeah, I agree YCN. If OU keeps playing this way they'll finish 6-10 (probably) in the conference. They're out of the top 25 now anyway. Both Caton and Maria seem to have gone AWOL the past couple of games and we need them to be consistent. OU has the talent.....just missing some mental aspect of the game.
We'll see what Sherri has to say on her radio program tonight.

youth, youth, youth, youth, youth.
I've never been a bandwagon fan, and don't intend to start being one now....and the gauntlet that the team of 2002 left behind seems to rather heavy for a team that last year finished very high above expectations with their battered bunch. I think Chelsi's injury, while not seeming to have affected us up to this point...is starting to show up.
Who was the one person that could knock down 3's on a dime in the waning moments of a game last year?

Caton Hill has been my favorite Non-Baylor player in the league. However, I was really surprised when I was in Norman last week and I saw her in person for the first time since last season before the injury. She appeared to me to be out of shape and that surprised me. It is very hard to return to where you were before an ACL injury. I had one years ago and was never the same. It is too bad since this is her senior year. OU does have an abundance of talent and it will take just a little tweaking to get the chemistry just right. It will be interesting to see how Chelsi responds to the ACL injury. I do believe it is tougher on a post player that is physical like Caton. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif
