Sorry...I had to post this. Out of the 321 teams that CollegRPI.com has ranked, only 4 are still winless. Two of them, North Carolina A&T and Morgan St., are playing here pretty soon. I just got bored and looked this up. I wonder how awful it would feel to not win a game the whole season? I assistant coach for a little league (9th through 12th) here in Lubbock and sometimes the girls can get so demoralized after a game. I can't imagine that multiplied by 20 losses without a single win to boost them.
Well, zero wins is a special case. But, long-time fans from Iowa State and Oklahoma (not me, I'm a recent arrival) could probably provide some insight into what it feels like to lose ALMOST every single game you play during an entire season. Anybody want to share those recollections? Or have you managed to delete them permanently from memory?
I became a fan during Megan Taylor's freshman year (also my freshman year) after ISU had gone to one NCAA tournament, so I'm not too used to losing.
Speaking of losing, Western New Mexico University (where Erica Haugen is an assistant) has alreay won three games this season, two at the expense of Oklahoma Panhandle University. Last season, WMNU didn't win a single game.

Well, I started following OU quite a lot in 1995 - the year before Coach Coale arrived. Her first season at 5-22 become rather bleak into February during that 15 game losing streak. But, there was still cause to have a lot of faith in Sherri. She was, and still is, incredibly intense and you knew things were going to change.
I feel for Kansas fans. This year must just be absolutely horrible. Seems rather bleak up there and may be hard to develop some hope.

I can remeber when we were everyone's preseason cupcake game in women's basketball and in football. It just saps the life out of you.
