Wow. Seven teams in the poll. Congrats, Nebraska and welcome to the party. Is it me or does it look like OU got dropped pretty severely? My Lady Bears beat them, but it was by a ranked opponent and a pretty close game.

As for OU, I am sure ISU helped a little with the drop in ranking.

It did....they've been 15 forever and losing back to back games, one against unranked Iowa State..staying at #20's not bad.

Who would have thunk it at the beginning of the year? I'm so proud of the Huskers I could burst at the seams.

Way to go Big 12!
Yesterday's game against TAMU wans't pretty, but getting out of there with a W kept UT in the top 5. Very proud of NU and not looking forward to meeting them on the road!

7 in the top 25 is pretty amazing....and what a sea change for the Huskers - 1 conf win last year and #25 this year. Congratulations Coach Yori and all the players and the fans for hanging in there....it was worth it wasn't it.

you know......I think Chipper's been here as long or longer than I have; I certainly admire a fan that's been through the thin of it for so long and hope if I'm ever in that position, I never lose the hope or stop standing behind my team......whether I like it or not.
Congrats to http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/nu.gif a very long time in coming.

The 10 inches of snow we got here in eastern Nebraska, plus more on the way, was putting a damper on my day.
But now I find out the http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/nu.gif have cracked the top 25 and my attitude has changed immemsely! What a great day this turned out to be after all!
Congratulations to the coaches and players and lets not let this be a one week ordeal!
Congrats to http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/nu.gif
It is well deserved.

All in all, a good week for the Big 12. Tech drops a bit but is still in the top 10. The other ranked Big 12 teams shift around a bit and we add Nebraska. Congratulations Nebraska.

Wow!!!! Way to go Nebraska. I recall when it was time to play Nebraska, we looked at those games as a certain 'W'. Not anymore. Incredible job by Yori and her team. Welcome to the club!!!
In 2001-2002, at the end of the season the Big 12 had 7 teams in the top 15, and all 7 hosted the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tournament.
Could it happen again? Right now I have some serious questions about the RPI rankings of certain teams, particularly regarding the Big 10 and the Big East (esp. the Big East). I think that from what I've seen the Big 12 is far and away the best conference this year.
I don't think the Big 12 will have more than 6 ranked at the end of the season, but nothing would surprise me right now.

Congrats for the nod in the rankings!
At least until the 31st, I'm glad.
Congrats to the Huskers.

USA Today/ESPN poll is out.

I can't believe that schools like Arizona and UT-Chattanooga are getting more votes than Nebraska. Shows me how much the coaches actually pay attention to their rankings.
