For those who didn't see it on TV, the announcers did want to emphasize that Domenico was moving and talking...she never lost conciousness. They seemed to think that the hospital trip was precautionary. Let's hope they were right!

According to ESPN.com, Dominico was released shortly after she arrived at the hospital. Thank heavens she wasn't seriously hurt.

Coach Patterson said in the post-game news conference that she suffered an injury similar to whip-lash. and that they had gotten a report from the hospital that she would be okay and was suffering from neck spasms even as the game ended.
