She talks about the ISU loss and Texas win, among other things.
One of my favorites yet.

What a great article! If ISU isn't playing in the Midwest Regional at Hilton, I hope that OU is. I for one, would love to go and cheer Coach Coale onto the Final Four.
Now if the Clonies are there, too......sorry Coach Coale! http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif

I loved it. I'll have to go back and read her other entries. I agree with cycofan that if Oklahoma or any other big12 team is playing in Ames and ISU isn't I'll be cheering for them as if they were the Cyclones. We have got to get a team to the Final Four.

Man, can she write or what? It's amazing when someone can pen a few paragraphs and inspire you. I envy people who can write and express feelings and thoughts like that.
Can't wait till her first book comes out.
Coach Coale was an English teacher in high school, right? So I guess it shouldn't be that surprising that she can really write well. But I've been very impressed by how well she expresses herself and how well crafted her articles are.

Well, I bet there are many English teachers that can't write like that. Maybe critique grammar - but not be creative and put together words like that.

Great article. Interesting that she shares a birthdate with another great "coach" and master strategist from history:
