Take a moment to link to the article on the newest Buffs. What is really interesting is that Serbian swingplayer Jasmina Ilic will apparently be eligible this season. She was on the bench during the Wyoming game. It will be interesting to see how long it takes her to pick up the system, get into game shape and make a contribution. CU certainly can use her this season, with Whitney Law out for the season and Melissa Hobbs recently leaving the team the Buffs could use her to add some depth at the shooting guard and forward positions.

Apparently Ilic could play as early as tonight, although it seems unlikely given that her first practice was yesterday. She arrived in Boulder Christmas night and has told Ceal Barry she does not want to red shirt.

Ilic graduated from HS last June and it seems Barry was hoping she would enroll next fall or be willing to red shirt this spring.

In the short run Ilic will certainly help with depth in practice. Recently the Buffs were down to 9 healthy players. With Ilic, plus the return to practice of VJR and Cecily Jones they now have 12.
