The Fort Worth Star-Telegram has a nice article on Texas Tech. The link is on the front page. Texas Tech has definitely the deepest, possibly the most balanced, team in the Big 12. Add chemistry and you could have a championship team in the making.

"I've probably enjoyed coaching them more than any group I've had in 10 years," Sharp said. "To this point today, we've had not one single conflict, knock on wood, to deal with from a coaching perspective. That's unusual for any team. Their effort, enthusiasm, approach and how much they enjoy being around each other really excites me."

You guys are scaring me! Tho I am not really surprised that Tech is more balanced this year, and I predict you'll be 11-0 after this week. Go beat up on the Pac-10!

All of us who have been watching the Lady Raiders in action game after game have been holding this tight......but I will say this.

This team is the best TEAM I've ever seen the Lady Raider field (I wasn't here in 93). They are having FUN on the court and as a conseqence we the fans are having a blast.

Coach Sharp has some additional things up her sleeve that she's adding for Washington and Stanford and we've all been sworn to secrecy...... shhh!

That probably won't happen until next year, but she is 6'6", and her initials are NOT CG.

Since I haven't seen them play yet, I'll hold my tongue until after Friday night's game at Washington.

My biggest knock on Tech coming into the season was a lack of "muscle"; we'll see if they have some as the season unfolds.
