The Big 12 goes undefeated tonight:

Texas beat Texas State 88-27.
Oklahoma mens basketball coach Calvin Sampson caught a lot of grief from the press for supposedly running up the score last night on Ark Pine Bluff. Chances are the same clowns will be on Coach Conradt's back for the same thing.

Texas A&M beat Arkansas/Little Rock 54-45

And Colorado beat Colorado St. 81-74

Really? Who did Sampson catch flack from? I heard several people joking that he would get some grief from Mike Lupica after Lupica reacted to OU's throttling of A&M.

Gotta love knee-jerk reporting where the amount of in depth insight they provide is fueled only by looking at the final score. Morons.

I heard it on ESPN Radio this afternoon on the Dan Patrick Show. They had a quote from Sampson after the game in which he stated "I wish we would of had more walk-ons." They also said this is all Sampson would say on the subject.

I also heard it on WHB sports talk radio in Kansas City this afternoon.

Colorado (6-1) was led per usual by Bjorklund with 28 points, in 34 minutes. She also pulled down 9 rebounds. CU was down by 10 in the first half, a disturbing trend. They whittled it down to one by the half, scored the first points of the second half and were able to go up by as much as 12 before holding the Rams off down the stretch.

CU faces Washington Tuesday night in Boulder.

After I read so many comments about how truly bad the men's Arkansas-Pine Bluff were....I noticed this score on the women's team last night....

Southwest Missouri State 92 Arkansas Pine Bluff 39

I think Ark-PB is only a year or two removed from DII
