The Huskers added six players in the early signing period but lost Courtney Matthewis (reasons undisclosed). The four JC players sound pretty exciting. Here's a link --

By the way -- it's way to early to talk like this, but does Jessica Gerhart remind anyone else of Stacy Stephens? Against, UNK she played "taller" than 6'2", she's athletic, has a similar build, and seems to have her head in the game. After only three weeks of practice and two games, she seemed to know how to get open and put herself in good position for the point to get her the ball. It'll be interesting to follow her career over the next four years.

Forgive me for cynicism. It's been hard to be a Huskers womens basketball fan these last few season. I'm sure you can understand that. Yesterday, I saw some of the best our league has to offer and it gets me down. It'll be 2-3 more years until Nebraska is that good.

As for Gerhart, she's was good against UNK. But we have a lot of work ahead. Lets beat Wofford and work from there.
