I have installed a new product within the forum that will allow you to easily follow HoopScoop with your iPhone, iPad or Android phone. You will need to install an app named "ForumRunner". It took me a while to download, but eventually it did install. You can install the free version which will allow you to read and follow HoopScoop. For $1.99 you can install a version that will allow you to post to HoopScoop from your phone or tablet.

ForumRunner is an independent app that allows you to follow a forum that is run by certain types of software (vbulletin is supported which powers HoopScoop). All I had to do was add a product that allows ForumRunner to hook into this forum. So now HoopScoop is one of many forums that you can now follow in this app.

Once you have downloaded the app and clicked on the icon, click on "Forum Browser". Scroll down and click on "Sports". Then click on "Basketball". From there scroll down until you see "HoopScoop" and an icon that looks similar to the one you see in the upper-left-hand-corner of this page.

After clicking on the "HoopScoop" icon you will obtain a list of all the forums in HoopScoop like "Women's Basketball Potpourri", "RSS feed - News Articles", "Off-Topic", etc. Playing around with this I was able to easily read all posted articles. However, it looks like it's not catching threads that are "sticky" and listed at the top.

I've purchased the app that allows you to post to a forum. As you can see in the Off-Topic forum I've submitted a test post that shows it works!

Hopefully this will allow everyone to follow and participate in HoopScoop that much easier. Sorry for the $1.99. The money does not go to me but instead to the owners of ForumRunner. If the $1.99 poses a problem for you, I'd be glad to help you with the cost. Afterall, I was about to pony up $200 to produce a free app that would allow you to do the same, but this way I just saved $200 and could instead use that $$ to allow 100 of you (and I would gladly do it for everyone) follow HoopScoop.

Let me know if you have any questions/comments. Hope this is beneficial.

Let me know if you are successful or not getting this set up on your phone or tablet.

Also give feedback if you find this useful or not. Thanks!

Actually it is catching the sticky threads. Once you go into a forum, there are two buttons at the top: 1) Threads 2) Stickies. You have to select Stickies to see those.

Looks great Commish...thanks so much. I haven't been able to follow as much this year as I would like. This is a great help.
