Geez, i've got homework due in physics and statics Monday, a big physics test Tuesday, gardening to do, kids to paly with, and i'm sitting here at WORK monitoring boards and games...I should just learn to take March off every year, but it'd be a little dicey trying to make that happen...I want to play Minnesota NOW! I want to play LSU or La Tech tomorrow! I want the Tech game to start at 8 p.m. !
Sorry. Just thought i'd share my excitement...man, I love this game and this time of year. Hard to concentrate on anything else, though...

I'm with you, John Henry. My house hasn't been vacuumed since before Valentine's Day. And I don't care. I'm doing good just to feed my cats and get my laundry done! I love this stuff, too! My whole life revolves around the games during March.
It's refreshing to find out that I'm not alone!

Certainly can share your excitement from last year, JohnHenry.
It was about this time that we were all thinking......hmmmm,
maybe we ought to go ahead and book a hotel room in San Antonio; just in case.
Is Atlanta in your future? Or New Orleans?....both of the Texas teams certainly have a shot at being at both places.
Somehow, life is much more calmer for me this season http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/frown.gif And I can root on for the other Big XII teams. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif
I was looking through the NCAA program earlier and was very surprised that many of the teams in the tourney, like the Big XII, don't lose many players. Tennessee is probably taking the biggest hit from the "top" teams that I could see losing Kara Lawson and Gwen Jackson......but, nothing compared to the loses some teams faced last year....some teams lose a "top" scorer like Miss. State. I was a bit surprised, but I think this year's junior class is absolutely stellar.

Wouldn't it be a profound HOOT if Texas and Texas Tech wound up playing for the championship in Atlanta?! Hey, it could just happen. Yee-Hawwww!
I'm starting to get the "ten-mile stare" from watching so much basketball, and occasionally touching base with world events.
I love March.

It is so comforting to have the rest of you FANatics out there. My family doesn't understand me. My friends don't understand me. If it weren't for Hoopscoopers, I'd have to go out and eat worms.

lol.....worms?, elfdenmom. Actually you bring up a really good point, my family, friends and co-workers probably owe a debt of gratitude to the Hoopscoopers. This way they don't get those strange looks and say, "oh, you're talking about the women." http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif

My wife is getting a little ticked off that everything we try to do has to be scheduled around a ball game. I think I owe her a pair of diamond earrings just for going to the Big XII tournament with me. It was our anniversary. http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/wink.gif
