Sorry for the delay. But all is well here. I was downtown OKC & the tornadoes were all around, but I had no damage.

The storms died down a lot before they got to Tulsa. I herd that the Tulsa hospitals are full of folks from Joplin.

Bear Lady, how did you fare up where you live during the recent storms. The tornado that briefly touched down at Love Field went back up, then over Highland Park and the funnel went just to the NE of my house. It did some damage to a lot of trees and roofs, plus we lost our electricity for two sweltering hot days.

We did ok. Thanks for the concern. Though it was a very lively evening! Storm sirens went off twice! Thanks to my OK roots, I could handle it.
No damage in our immediate area. Lots of heavy rains but no real wind damage.

Survived. Though, first time I have left my pets at home and gone to a shelter.
These storms are just too serious this year. Chris posted on Facebook wondering why so many people had to die when technology has improved so much. Seems the old Indian legend has proven true this year: a tornado will never cross the river nor hit the original part of Norman.
