Well, here in the DFW area, I guess the Texas game isn't considered regional, as the Uconn game has been on since it's beginning. It's shown an updated score of the Texas game.

What's everyone else getting?

I have no hopes of seeing the OU game tonight.

Here in Colorado we are getting the UConn game as well. I guess ESPN is so in love with the Huskies that they figure everyone else must be as well. I'd much rather be seeing the Texas game.

That said, it's possible that there is a problem locally. I was at the CU games last night so didn't witness this first hand but from what I read in the paper this AM, evidently the local cable co messed up its feed last night. Even tho it was suppossed to be showing the CU game, they didn't have it on until about 5 minutes to go in the first half.

I just checked the ESPN coverage info on their web site. It shows that the entire state of Texas should be getting the UT game. So call your cable company asap!!!

We're getting the BU/UConn game here in central Oklahoma. I would much rather get the Texas game.

The OU game is supposed to be shown here this evening, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'll be at the game, so I'll have to set my VCR. If we actually DO get the game I would be more than willing to share the tape with the rest of you...provided that I get it back, of course! There will be more than one person who wants to use it.

You know, I'm probably an oddity---I can't watch a tape game if I know the outcome. My attention span is to short. I missed most of OU's Nat'l Champ game last year (caught the end of it), but though I taped it, I just couldn't sit through it, having already known the outcome. Ditto for football, movies, tv shows, etc. I have to much other stuff to do! Even now, I'm popping my head in and out of the house, catching scores, but that's about it. I think I do have adult ADD.

This will show you that the whole state of Texas is supposed to be getting the Texas and Texas Tech game tonight. Right now I am getting the Texas game. I have Comcast cable in Richardson.

We got the Texas game in West Texas. Vera Jones was doing analysis in Cincinnati.

Has Heather Schreiber made an All American list? The play by play guy called Schreiber an AA at least 4 times in the first half.

The only list I had seen was the USBWA with Ohlde & Wecker. Have others been released?

Interesting. The past few times I've stuck my head inside, it's been on the SC/Chattanooga game, which has been a close game. I'm in Lewisville and have Dish Network. Wonder if that matters at all?

I think Texas is also supposed to show the TCU game. Since that's an 8/9 game, it should be a good one. Wonder if the Duke game will take precendence?
Cincy/Arkansas might be a good game as well.

I think the problem today was due to ABC switching to WAR coverage and moving their NBA game over to ESPN. This caused the "national" telecast of WBB to move over to ESPN2. Sometime after the UT game was over, ABC moved the NBA game back and ESPN is back on as "scheduled" with WBB regional and national coverage.

I have Dish Network in Dallas and if you have it, DO NOT forget to check all the "alternate" ESPN channels. I got to watch the UT game in it's entirety (@ NO extra charge). If there is a Texas team playing and you live in Texas, you should be guartanteed to see the game without "whip-lash around" coverage. Right now I can watch TCU/Mich. State on the "alternate channel" (148) or Duke on ESPN (140). http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/biggrin.gif

I also watched some of the LSU/SWT game last night, but was glued to the New Mexico/Miami game mostly.

I'll be watching Tech on the alternate channel (to avoid interruptions) this evening....so Go Tech!

Yeah, RIGHT, SUPPOSED is the word. I have DISH also, and was looking forward to seeing the ONE game I'd be able to watch, Arkansas/Cincinnati. Turns out it is one of the games not available on the Alternate channels. It is the game being shown on ESPN right now, though, so i guess I better get in the other room while I can see it.

To get a game on the alternate channels, you usually have to live in one of the States of the two teams involved. I wish they would change that rule to at least include conferences instead of state, but that wouldn't help us get the Hoggettes/Cincy game.

I treated myself to the half-season of the ESPN Full Court from Cox, so I've been been getting all the games although the game on ESPN is also being shown on the extra channels sometimes...guess that's the state coverage.

If you have DirecTV, you get all the games on the 780s if you have ESPN Full Court, not limited to what state you live in.

I did, too.........but I could not find the New Mexico/Miss State game last night. I kept seeing the score ticker showing it, but I'll be danged if I could find the thing. I watched most of the BC/Vandy game last night, switched to CU/NC....and then watched my one of my new *second* favorite teams....
UW-Green Bay.....those girls are so much fun to watch.

Think I'm staying home to watch the TX/Ark game tonite rather than going to see the Villanova/G.Wash game. OU already has my money, not sure that I give anymore to the OU program by my butt being in the seat.
