Sleigh bells ring, are you listening,
in the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight,
we're happy tonight,
walking in a winter wonderland.

-- or how about --

Oh, the weather outside is frightful,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I brought some corn for popping;
The lights are turned way down low,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

-- or maybe --

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
Take a look in the five-and-ten, glistening once again
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Toys in ev'ry store,
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be
On your own front door.

Well, anyway, bottom line is there's 6-8 inches of snow on the grass. There's 3-4 inches now sticking to the streets and we may have a very small crowd to OU's second home game tomorrow night unless we've got some great road crews this year (not likely).

I love the snow, but when it starts to interfere with the Sooner's home games .......

Gotta go make snow angels with my 2 and 3 year olds!! And while we're at it, gotta go make -

Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul
With a corncob pipe and a button nose
and two eyes made out of coal
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale they say
He was made of snow but the children
know how he came to life one day

Hopefully everyone out there will have a white Christmas or some fun with the white stuff before Christmas just as we're having in SoonerLand. Merry Christmas everyone!

Drifts up to a foot or more....

Gotta love it. I'm sure I sound foolish to you guys in Ames and Boulder, but it's of course rare to have storms like this in Norman. Especially in November.

Backyard picture below. All my kids toys are disappearing.

If this keeps up, and radar is showing now signs of an end quite yet, gotta think the game against Wichita State tomorrow could be cancelled. WSU would be foolish to head south into this stuff.

Just talked to my parent's, just a bit west of Norman and they said 2 feet drifts on the roads...fun fun.

Here in Dallas it's misty/sleety, but no snow. We're hoping though.
