View Full Version : What is wrong with ISU?

Bremer just hit a three to cut the A&M lead to 29-20 with 7:18 left in the first. ISU has 12 turnovers already.

By the way, I'm really impressed with the http://sports.tamu.edu/live/basketball/livestats/xlive.htmLive Stats</a> that A&M has on their website.

defence, defence, defence! Where is ISU's defense??? It sounds like A&M can shoot where ever they want, wide open. ISU has got to play a more aggresive defense if they want to create some easy shots for themselves. And you NEED those if ya want to win on the road.

Defense is part of the problem, but not the biggest.

ISU has SEVENTEEN turnovers at the half! ISU has a better FG% at this point, but A&M has taken 36 shots to ISU's 24.

and 14 steals for A&M...wow!.....looks like Mel Bremer kept it somewhat close for the clones in the 1st half as well scoring 13

This is a running problem for ISU. A&M has 36 shots to only 24 for ISU.

FG attempts this season:
Texas 68, ISU 47
Nebraska 63, ISU 57
ISU 62, KSU 54 (this was a case of few turnovers but poor shooting for ISU)
San Diego 60, ISU 44
Auburn 86, ISU 58
UNI 63, ISU 54
E. Kentucky 67, ISU 53
ISU 74, Niagara 63
Iowa 69, ISU 58
Northwestern 69, ISU 50
Drake 69, ISU 54
Creighton 82, ISU 55
ISU 67, Miss. St. 66
Depaul 70, ISU 58
Marquette 58, ISU 56

15 games, and ISU has more FG attempts than their opponent in only 3. ISU has absolutely no margin for error if the shots don't fall.

mred, I like the A & M live stats too. Wish ISU could do something like that. ISU needs to shoot the ball and quit turning it over. Way too many turnovers already. At the half, Wilson, Gahan, and Welle have only taken 4 shots each. Each should have twice that by now. They also need to guard the perimeter. Sounds like they haven't been doing well with that.

I don't know which would be worse watching or listening.

I thought A&M wasn't a 3 point shooting team.

ISU is falling apart. 57-36 with 16:42 left.

A&M finally stopped the run, but 59-45 is much better than 57-36.

I thought they were turning it around then Mel gets her 4th and we have 2 turnovers.

A&M is in really bad foul trouble. 3 players have 4 fouls.

ISU on a comeback. A & M turnovers increasing, and foul trouble mounting.

Why isn't ISU shooting the ball. In the past they have never let the shot clock run down like this, and it has been a trend all season....

Hanging around, but time is running out.

What did Bill do to get the T?

Sounds like Fennely got upset about an over-the-back call on Paustian. Looks like we are playing the foul game now. Things looking poorly for ISU.

Lindsey just fouled out. It looks like we are going to lose 2 in a row. Before the game I thought they said we haven't lost 2 in a row for a long time.

Wilson fouled out. Games pretty much over. Not enough time left to come back now.
On another note....Baylor leads Oklahoma at the half.

Now we get to play Oklahoma and Texas Tech!

THe ISU announcer said she had more 3pt baskets today than she had all year.

2 road losses and now back home to play 2 of the top teams in the Big 12! Might turn into a bad week for the clones.

Not true. This should sound familiar:
Last season, we lost @ Colorado, a team ranked under us but still good. Our next game was payback, a game @ a pretty bad Kansas team. The infamous Kansas game. Anyway, we won every game after that except the game @ Tech and the NCAA tournament loss to Vandy. Let's hope we bounce back like that.

In the post game interview Bill just said the T wasn't on him it was on the bench. He said they told him that somebody on the bench said something. Bill said it was the worst game in his time as ISU and he aplogized to all his former players.

This game is as much psychology as it is athletic ability. Sometimes even more so.

Talk about a strange start to the BIG 12 conference. It is going to be up in the air for awhile it appears. I think some of you fans must have "POed" the Aggies with the cellar dweller remarks and such.

My Hoopla certainly went south today.

If so http://hoopscoop.net/ubb/smile.gif, that was my doing. I've been down on the Aggies since the season began. This is an absolute shocker. Never in my wildest, wierdest dreams would I thought this possible. What's next? Kansas beating Oklahoma? Did I just jinx the Sooners?
