Baylor vs. Houston in QTI classic

Baylor will take on ranked Houston today at 3 o'clock (I think), putting an undefeated record on the line in perhaps their stiffest competition to date. Canion will be in the circle, and I would imagine Houston will be pitching their ace, as well. (Though their #2 kid got a lot of love and recognition on ESPN's site after Houston's series against LSU.)

Going to have the game on streaming video on laptop, and then at 4, the Lady Bears' basketball game against on the tv.

Have been down on Galveston Island since Thursday night and was planning on heading back to Houston in time to get games, but OMGosh, the weather today is gorgeous, so now I'm thinking of hanging around until after the games are over before heading home. Will just have to fight Mardi Gras traffic off island. Patience, ChiBear, patience... oh, and

Congrats to Houston! Crabtree was a stout pitcher, all right. Our ace was great, but theirs was "greater." Houston wins 1-0, helped by a throwing error. Was hard to follow this game and b-ball on tv, but I think I managed pretty well...:)

Just wish the softball team would have pulled out a win like the basketball team managed to do. Hitters need a little more work before they are ready for Big 12 caliber pitching.

Oh well, onward and upward and happy swinging!
