The CollegeRPI.com site shows Texas as a #1 seed in the Midwest region. The other #1 seeds are UConn, Duke & LSU. http://www.collegerpi.com/women

The #2 seeds are Tennessee, Villanova, Texas Tech & Purdue
The #3 seeds are Kansas State, LaTech, Stanford & North Carolina.

Guess we'll see how this really pans out later today!

And they show sending Duke to Oklahoma.....I didn't think that could happen. Ditto, sending LSU to Colorado.

Sure will be an interesting Selection Show this year.

The ESPN womans panel of Nell Fortner and Stacie Dales-Schuman picked U-Conn, Duke, LSU and Tennessee because of its RPI strength as their number 1 seeds this morning.

They also said none of these #1 seeds want to see Texas (a number 2 seed in their view} in their side of the bracket. They also mentioned Villanova and K-State as strong number 2's.
